Cost to replace engine mounts on 95 neon?
I took my neon to the dealer and he said it would cost 1200-1400 bucks for motor mount replacement. I've researched the problem and price seems to be specific to the make and model. The engine is clanking when I accelerate at moderate rates, there is a low schreeching sound when I drive at slow speeds, and when I crank the steering wheel hard left there is a loud schreech. It sounds like a motor mount issue but I'm not sure. Can anyone help me out with this one.
in my opion those are really expensive motor mounts. espcially for a neon. go else where dont go to a neon dealership.
