Does the Intex saltwater system continue making chlorine even if detects high salt?
I keep having code 93 (high salt) and was wondering if the chlorine generator will still make chlorine, even if there's too much salt? Or, does it completely shut down and do nothing?
I just got a salt water system (from a friend) and I don't have the operators manual. I just hooked it up today and ran it for four hours and then the code 93 was flashing in the end. I had no idea what the code meant; however, I did see the installation on You Tube and it said if you have too much salt in your water it won't work right and that you have to empty 20% of the water and replace it with fresh water. SO if you have too much salt you're going to have to empty some water and add some more water. Any chance of getting a list of codes ??
