I plan to stock a 55gal tank and I want to have 1hippo tang,5green chromis, and 1clarkii clown. Will this work?
I will have a 200 watt heater, 260 watt light, 4 inches of sand/sediment, 80 lbs of fiji live rock, 3 power heads (270gph each) with sponge pre-filter, a 400 gallon per hour (gph) bio-wheel, and other important equipment. Could I also add a tank-bred flame angelfish? Again, will this all work out? Please explain all answers. THANKS!!! (this is for a saltwater aquarium just 4 your information)
I think a hippo tang (also known as a PACIFIC Blue Tang) Would be fine in a larger tank...say 75 gallons or more, but not in a 55. I guess it could stay there until it got bigger but then you'd have to start another tank for it...Your equipment is fine (do you have a skimmer?) but its the space issue. And The BLUE tang is agressive but the PACIFIC Blue is very mild mannered.
