how do i empty out some of the water from my in-ground pool using the pool's multifunctional pump
the pool guy is away and i need to empty some, not all, of the water out of the pool. the pool has a multifunctional pump that recirculates the water, empties the pool etc. trouble is that i have no idea how to do this. Any help please? I just need to empty some of the water out. The brand of the pump is a 'Hayward'.
if you have a multiport valve on your filter and your filter is a de filter you might have a setting called waste. if you do you can use that setting !
make sure your pump is off press down on the handle rotate to waste let off the handle. turn pump on !
make sure you do not get water below the skimmer. if you do you might harm your pump !
if you have a 3 way valve on front of the pump you can turn the handle to shut off the skimmer and drain some water out that way
