realtek audio manager headphone problem, please help?

I really enjoy listening to music on my pc and I have realtek audio manager as my sound device and everything worked fine listening and downloading music for youtube on realplayer (into my realplayer library). Last night I was recording music to realplayer. I some how now can listen to music on the headphone option on realteck manager its just blank no sound however it allows me hear really low quality music on 6CH speaker and 8CH speaker in the same realtek manager?. its really frustrating can you please help. what can I do to restore quailty sound again? My headphones are working perfectly on my brothers pc so theyre not the problem. I Think my brother messed around with some settings but hes not saying!

Open realtek audio manager click on audio I/O tab, click on drope down menu then headphone. Also click on the audio icon in the task bar or go to control panel then sound or audio devices. go to option> properties>playback then check the boxes master volume, wave, synth, front rear, digital out, cd player and line one or two. this should work
